We are excited and praising God as we watch our new sanctuary going up. Meeting in our home has been a wonderful blessing over the past ten years and we are sad at the thought that that might change. But we have to face the fact that the house has gotten smaller as the church has grown larger. And, as our children get bigger they are asking for more privacy. So, the Lord, who is faithful both in His wisdom and timing has brought us to this place to see a sanctuary go up.
Please pray for us as we work towards completing the project. Due to the year long wait for the bank to approve our loan the building company had to raise the price by $20,000 because of the cost rise in steel and concrete. We didn't want to reapply for the loan so we are trusting the Lord for the additional funds and that He will work all things out.
More importantly, please pray for the safety and well being of all who will be working. We have a professional contractor doing all of the outside structure, and we'll be doing all of the inside work, such as plumbing, electricity etc. With so many involved God's protection and grace will be greatly needed.
One great blessing is that we have a building team from our home church in Nashville, TN (Belmont Church). They along with us and other volunteers will be working to try and finish by the end of July, God willing.
